I'd go plain... but thats me. I believe the flowers will sing with something neutral - i love the old veg boxes with wood and black stencilling. So i would do a black frame. Wood/varnish and a row of painted flowers.'

Here’s my choice of paint for the barrow.

There’s a pile of wood paint, wood & metal paint & metal paint.

I’ve been having a little play with mixes this afternoon.

I'm a fan of Hammerite - so I'd use that on the metal - whatever colour it is.

It’s silver. I did use it in my first attempt.

Today I’ve re designed the money box for the sales barrow.
Original ( after putting roof back on and reattaching the base, while making it hinged & lockable)

First attempt. Wasn’t happy with it

What it looks like now.

Also had a little play with decorating jam jars.

They’re going to have little bunches of flowers in them . Hopefully people in camper vans might buy flowers if the come with their own jam jar vase.

They’re going to be displayed in here on the barrow. To help stop the blowing over. Probably only 3 at a time. So the flowers aren’t squashed and they’ll display better, hopefully.

They're lovely SC. Who could resist a posy in a pretty jar. You'll have to let us know how you get on.

I will….. if I remember  Big Grin . It won’t be happening until next year and if I manage to grow some flowers to go in them.
the seedlings are looking promising …………at the moment.

Good thinking, SC. I think posies are nicer than big bunches, and a posy that came in a fancy jar would be a bonus.

I can’t claim that idea as my own. But you do know who came up with it  Big Grin .
