You can eat all of the plant those tiny onions at the top are the hottest part it are very fiddly to peal.

I've only heard them referred to as that. There are various different kinds of walking onions, I believe. I got mine from Real Seeds and am mostly focusing on increasing my stock at the moment, but have eaten some leaves like spring onions. They are good!

I've grown them in the past as Tree Onions. No idea where they've walked off to now!

They were great, with lots of bulbils ready to plant on. They are currently living with my parents until I can buy a house though. I think it will take a while to build up a patch large enough to supply enough for a regular harvest, but they are very low maintenance, so why not bung them in and let them do their thing?
