Went to LIDL today with a list! This may be a first! I didn't deviate from the list either even though I stood by the chocolate and drooled.
Everyone in LIDL seemed to want to talk. First off was a lady who said that you could buy all the clothes you need in LIDL so I told her that I was wearing most of them to stay warm. We compared how many layers of clothing we were wearing - she won with 5. Big Grin
Next up was a man who asked my advice about which butter to buy! Before I could answer he proceeded to give me his opinion of all the pseudo butters and why they weren't really butter even though they said butter on the tub. I told him that I would buy the Welsh Salted Butter £1.69 so he waved the Anchor butter at me and asked if it was better! After I explained that I'd buy the Welsh one to support local farmers he put a pack in his trolley and told me it was good to meet someone who knew what they were talking about! LIttle does he know. Wink
Finally, at the checkout, a lady told me about her Golden Retrievers and how much it costs to feed them (£60 an bag of dry food) as she looked at the 6 tins of dog food and bag of biscuits that I'd bought for mine, especially when I said I had 3 dogs. I think she thought they were the size of mice. Big Grin

She probably thought Spud, Tess & Ted were malnourished, confirming what all three of them tell you just before dinner and inbetween meals. They told me (telepathically) they even had to find their own hedgehogs and apples. Que doggy sad eyes and whines.

The dog lady told me that she'd chosen a female puppy as she thought it would be smaller and not eat as much as her adult male retriever. I probably said the wrong thing and said that being female didn't mean you were slim, meaning myself - then I realised that she would make 3 of me. Big Grin Fortunately, she laughed and didn't seem to take it personally!

So clever! I thought you'd put the wrong video up with the naked bodies at the start. Big Grin
