Good morning. I just had email this morning at 9.01 ago for mushroom offer from Organiccatalogue: "Exclusive Organic Catalogue Newsletter Offers -
Grow Your Own Mushroom Kits SAVE £11! EXTRA 48 HOURS!"

Clicked on the link and 6 varieties - all unavailable. Must have been very popular to sell out in 20 minutes.

It was me that was too quick. They are all for sale now, 6 varieties, so must have sent out their emails before updating the web site. I'm not really interested in 2, probably small, boxes with mushroom spawn in at £22.

I saw them on their website but thought you must have had an extra special offer!

I wouldn't buy from them anyway as they're part of T&M. I used to think the Organic Gardening Catalogue was a superior, ethical brand but not now.

Good evening all. Just been for a walk and noticed these in our grass verge. Some mutant dandilions coming your way soon.

Good morning (it was when I started) , just done a second pick of peas. Not sowed as much as last year but today's harvest was just over 1kg of pods. and here's my last cauli from greenhouse, one of 10 planted early spring. Will be weeding some of a flower border this afternoon - wish me luck.

I've had quite a few figs this year so far. It is in a polytunnel and I am fairly certain it has escaped the pot I planted it in. It is loaded with figs now and 2 or 3 are ripening every day, 3 today. Iy used to be in front of the house but it escaped there with roots coming over the top of the pot which was why I moved it. I just need to keep an eye on it now.

Pea harvest:

Cauli picked 13 July, still 1/2 in fridge.

A bit of the weedy border. Will be interesting to see what plants/shrubs are still there.

I like weedy borders - always full of surprises. Wink That's my excuse anyway.
Your cauli is fantastic.
Have you been AWOL Mark?

I'm not sure where you'd start on your weedy border. P would probably take a strimmer to the whole lot and lose anything worthwhile.

Anyone growing Japanese onions from seeds, Premier direct is out of stock but 5g of Senshyu Yellow from Mole seeds for less than £2 should be enough for next 3 years or so onions. Would need to be sowing soon.
