For lunch I had braising steak. Supposed to be cooked for 2.5 to 3 hours. Mine was done in the frying pan for 5 minutes. Nice and chewy with a big dollop of butter to go with it. Cool I also cooked offf some pork scratchings. I have found the best way is to deep fry in lard then finish off in the air fryer!

It was a toss up between Burritos or breadcrumbed basa. So as the oven was going on I thought to roast some tromba or pumpkin. I went to find a tromba from the top shelf of some 6ft dexion in the garage where I've stored them over winter. Bearing in mind I'm 5ft 5ish I can't see the top shelf so I reached up and pulled a tromba's tail. You guessed it, an avalanche of rotting tromba mush & seeds falls on me, the shredder, the lawn mower and various bits stored underneath. After muttering and swearing I eventually get it cleaned up, find a tromba that is solid, grab the rope to pull the garage door down and the bloody plastic rope breaks! Me and P spend the next ¾ hr messing about finding cord to replace it and fiddle @rsing about threading it through the concealed hole. Job done now but I'm frightened what the third thing will be.

Oh Dear - is it wrong to say I laughed! I can imagine the smell of a rotten Tromba too. Not pleasant. You'd better send P out for the next one.
