I've never seen the point of growing something so big and tough that you can't eat it. I'm grateful if I can grow a carrot, even if it has 6 legs.

We'd be eating cabbage for months! I have enough trouble coping with gluts of courgettes and tomatoes without them being any bigger. The monster veg brigade are growing more for competition than the table, not my style either.
