Thanks I’ll try that one next year

I only grow 3 types of toms now,

Black Cherry - my all time faves nice for snacking, sandwiches and even oven roasting.
Gardeners delight - a good sized tom that never fails
San Marzano - for making sauces, soups and roasting.

I expect I'll save some seeds, so maybe I can seed swap.

If we all save seeds from our favourite toms (except F1s) we can swap them and grow all of them next year. Smile

I’ll definitely be saving from buffalo horn
Possibly rosella, nectar rose, oleron yellow.

Pink Berkeley Tie Dye is my favourite so far, followed by Black Cherry. I have a list of over 100 varieties I'd like to try though, so...

So many varieties I've never heard of have whetted my appetite for the seed swap. I hope I'm able to contribute. As yet I've only picked 2 tomatoes, things need to improve before saving seed starts. Before long I'll be moaning there's too many.... never satisfied Smile

If you get into the habit of scraping seeds out of tomatoes before you eat them, you'll be amazed how many you can save.
They don't have to be unusual toms, you can swap any toms (except F1s) in our Seed swap.

I'm deciding what toms to grow and have some of your Oleron Yellow from the seed swap.  How did they turn out for you?

It’s the first yellow tomato I’ve actually liked the flavour of. And it produces very well.
