Actually they bit me where 'you park your bike'! Bending over obviously exposed ripe flesh Big Grin. About the only creature that would dare go there.

Bluebird is looking for the midges! Smile just in the right place. Luckily the bites don't last long, not like some critters that bite in the garden, you can be scratching for days.

I have just bought some sunflower seeds called Giant Skyscraper (4 metres+) in an effort to beat my next door neighbour. Big Grin

With the winds we get around here it may be four metres horizontally though! Rolleyes

I don’t see why there can’t be a sunflower competition again this year.
I’ll leave the new competition thread & categories up to someone else. I’m not growing any this year & I’m going to be a little busy.
