Just looked at the dates on the tins I acquired with the caravan. Not nearly as old as I thought. 2016 & 2017 . Really quite disappointing.

Another wet and miserable day so I decided to spent it doing a stocktake of dried goods, mostly dried beans & peas from Hodmedods, rice and pasta that I've acquired as freebies and some other odds and ends like bulghur wheat & couscous.
I've listed it all with expiry dates in a notebook. The oldest stuff is "use by 2021" - quite new really.
Its probably time to have another rummage through the tinned foods too............and I haven't looked at jars and bottles yet!

Very brave, angels fear to tread into the depths of my store cupboard.
